First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cintas.
Staff Accountant
It was a pretty fast and chill interview process. I did a phone chat first, and then I went in for an in-person interview where I met a few people from different levels at the company. The whole thing felt pretty casual and easy, and I got an offer pretty quickly after the in-person meeting.
- Will you be able to travel for this role?
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Four interviews were conducted in total. It began with a phone screening, followed by a one-on-one meeting. After that, I had two interviews on the same day, as I had successfully passed the previous stages. The whole process wrapped up in approximately two weeks. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and professional, and they all spoke very highly of the company.
- Can you share an instance where you completed a task but felt your work wasn't quite up to par?
- Describe a situation where you felt frustrated with a coworker or a client. What was your approach to resolving it?
- Recount a time you deviated from standard company procedure, believing it was the right course of action for the circumstances.
Accounts Receivable Specialist
I had a basic phone interview with the HR manager first. Then, I was set up for an in-person interview, but they didn't give me the address or the interviewer's name, so I had to find the address myself. After that, I had three more in-person interviews. The thing is, none of the managers were on time. Each time, I ended up waiting at least twenty minutes in a lobby that was both dark and drafty.
- The interviewers used a pre-selected form with situational questions that didn't really let me show off my skills or personality.
