Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CIMB Group.
Customer Service Representative
It was a casual chat, I introduced myself and they asked if I could work early mornings and late nights, and also how I would commute to work.
- Can you start by introducing yourself?
- Tell me about your location.
- Could you share some of your past experiences?
Customer Service Representative
I'd help out customers at the main branch with their bank account stuff. Gotta make sure people don't wait too long and have a good experience. Also, gotta try and sell them more bank products while I'm helping them.
- Given your qualifications, what makes you want to apply for this role?
Customer Service Representative
the interview took a day, I learned about the walk-in interview from my friend so I didn't prepare much since my friend told me about it the night before. The interview went smoothly, but I didn't like that they expected me to be very familiar with the position. The interviewer asked very few questions and talked a lot, not giving me a chance to share my thoughts. It was annoying because he seemed to be in a hurry to finish.
- Writing assessment: What do you think about having a great good organization?
- Do you know what this position entails?
