Associate Director
The interview was on time and the interviewers were professional. They asked structured questions, starting with experience, then technical skills, and finally personality and character. They ended by giving me time to ask questions about the bank.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experiences?
Associate
I networked at an event and got a phone screening. After that, I had an in-person interview at CIMB where they asked about my personality and background. Then, I had to take a General Intelligence Assessment. After a few weeks, I had my 3rd round, which was a business presentation on a topic I was given 3 days before. The 4th round was an in-person interview with the head of HR, and I got an offer on the spot.
- Can you explain why the merger between CIMB and SBB was successful?
Associate
The interview process consisted of 5 stages. It included 2 individual interviews and a group interview. In Stage 3, an individual interview focused on technical skills and past university experience. For Stage 4, a group interview involved researching a problem as a team and devising the best solution.
