Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cici's Pizza.
Cashier
It was a pretty standard interview where the general manager asked me a bunch of questions about myself, past jobs, what skills I have, and my availability. They also asked some scenario-based questions.
- Can you share an instance where you had a conflict with a customer and explain how you handled it?
Cook
They asked me a lot of questions.
- On a scale from your mom to the chefs on "Hell's Kitchen," how would you rank your cooking skills?
Cashier
I arrived for my interview a bit early, around 4pm for a 4:30pm start. They told me to get a drink and wait. The interviewer eventually came, introduced herself, and took me to a table in the restaurant. The interview started there. It felt unprofessional; she kept her clipboard up, blocking eye contact when I tried to connect. She asked general questions. Afterward, she quickly left back to the counter. I called later to check on my application, and they said I should have waited for them to contact me.
- Can you tell me about a challenge you've overcome?
