Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cicero Group.
Management Consultant
The interview with Cicero was a really good experience overall. They gave me some interesting cases to work on and were really nice throughout. The first person I talked to was responsive and friendly, and they checked in to see if I needed anything. The only thing I wish could have happened was if we could have gone over the case at the end and if I could have gotten some feedback on my choices so I could learn from it and do better next time.
- What draws you to management consulting and why Cicero Group in particular compared to other firms where you might be interviewing?
- Could you explain what sets Cicero Group apart from other companies you're considering for a management consulting role?
Associate Consultant
It was 3 interviews in total. The first one was a video interview where I had to answer a market-sizing question. You only get one chance to record your answer. Then there were 2 case interviews. They gave me graphs and visual data and I had to figure out a recommendation. They didn't answer my questions though. The last interview was a case presentation. I got an excel file with data and case details via email. I had to create a slide deck with my recommendations based on the info.
- A market-sizing question was asked during the first round video interview.
Associate Consultant
The interview process was straightforward: round 1 had a video interview with a market sizing question. Round 2 involved a case question and a behavioral round. Round 3 was a presentation where I had to present some slides. Just make sure you're ready for the case part!
- Can you introduce yourself and explain your motivation for joining cicero?
- Why are you interested in working at cicero?
