Project Manager
The interview process with Ciber and the client was quick and I got selected. Ciber then sent me an email asking me to complete forms, attach a passport photo, and provide scanned copies of payslips and relieving letters to process the offer letter. However, after completing all the formalities, they went silent. My calls are not being answered, and I haven't received any replies to my emails or messages for over two weeks. It's frustrating, and I wonder how anyone would join this company after such a negative experience. A well-organized company would at least update candidates on the status or answer their calls. It was the wrong choice, and I wouldn't recommend wasting time on their interviews.
- Posting questions doesn't help.
Project Manager
The interview process felt degrading. It began with a good recruiter call. Then, I had to do a video-taped recording answering 12 straightforward project management questions, which was really awkward. After that, an interview with a Ciber Engagement Director was scheduled. However, on the same day, the recruiter called to cancel, stating the client was going in a different direction. Later, another position came up with the same client. Initially, we discussed a W2 rate without benefits, which seemed acceptable. For the second position, the recruiter mentioned it had to be a full-time role with a very low salary, which didn't add up given our previous W2 rate discussion.

Project Manager
Ciber was involved in the hiring process for a subcontractor project manager role. I had to get my security clearance reactivated since it had lapsed after nearly four years of classified employment. Ciber talked to me about the prime contractor's hiring policies and got my interim security clearance reactivated while we waited for the prime contractor to accept me. The hiring manager for the role did a phone interview and then flew me out for an in-person interview. I ended up waiting about two extra hours past the scheduled interview time because the manager was unexpectedly delayed. Since I had a strong referral, the interview focused more on whether I'd be a good cultural fit rather than technical skills.
