Business Analyst
A Senior Recruiter reached out via email after I applied online for the Business Analyst position. They wanted to schedule a call to discuss my background and asked me to forward my resume and suggest a time for the call. This seemed like a standard professional process. The recruiter replied that my background was a good fit for some open roles and confirmed the call for the next day, again, what seemed like a standard professional process. The next day, I was prepared and ready for the call. However, one hour passed, then another, and another, and no call happened. This was not a normal standard professional process. I sent an email to the recruiter suggesting there might have been a mix-up with the days/times and asked to reschedule for the next day, but I never heard back. Definitely not a normal standard professional process. It makes you wonder.

Business Analyst
First, I had a call with a recruiter. They gave me the lowdown on the job, salary, and benefits. Then, a project lead gave me a call to see if I'd be a good fit for the team, check my communication skills, and how I'd handle tough spots. After that, it was face-to-face. A group of interviewers asked me about my experience, industry terms, and situational stuff. It's good to have examples ready of when you really did well.

- Tell me about a time you handled a difficult customer and what you did.
Business Analyst
We had multiple interviews including online ones. It started with a phone screening with the recruiter. Then there were online interviews with two IT directors, one of whom was the hiring manager, and an interview with the lead business analyst.
- Could you walk me through your background?
- What are your thoughts on these business case scenarios?
- Do you have any technical questions for us?
