Had a recruiter call, pretty standard stuff. Then, a technical interview with the department head, who was super chill and understanding. It was a ladder style, where the difficulty increased with each question. Basically, a typical interview for an Asset Management firm.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

It was multiple rounds. It started with an HR phone interview, which was pretty chill and informative. If that went well, they brought me into the office for technical interviews with the people I'd be working with. After those, about a week later, I had to do a case study presentation.

I was contacted by phone to set up a meeting. The interview itself was a stress interview. The interviewer and their colleagues made the whole experience really unpleasant, doing things like deliberately delaying and changing the room temperature. It was a really bad interview overall, and I wouldn't suggest this employer to anyone else.

It was super tough getting through all the stages, you had to walk through your personal story and then share your point of view on the market, a specific stock and the economy overall.
