I arrived for my interview a bit early, and the whole thing went by pretty fast. It was mostly a chat about my past experiences and my availability. The interviewer also explained how the background check process works.
- What makes you want to work at this company?
- Are you able to entertain guests when necessary?
- What is your availability to begin working?
Manager
It started with a conversation, then I met the team and some other managers. They asked a lot about my experience and career goals. They also asked about my cooking and front of house experience. After that, there was an interview about POS systems.
- How many years have you been doing this?
- What's your background?
- Where do you see yourself going in your career?
Financial Analyst
I interviewed with the company recently and thought their process was really efficient. It kicked off with a nice phone screen, then went into a technical round that was tough but fair. The people interviewing me were pros, and I got quick feedback at every turn. All in all, the whole thing was straightforward, respectful, and put together well—a good experience.
- Can you explain what working capital is and list its different types?
- In your opinion, what's the top metric for evaluating a company's stock?
Cashier
The interview process was awful. I waited about 3 hours. I kept asking when I would be interviewed and was told someone was coming. A manager finally interviewed me with typical questions. After that, I was told to wait and another manager came out to interview me, unaware I had already been interviewed. This second manager wanted me to dance next to the mascot to 'gauge my energy.' I waited another hour for the mascot, but the manager was nowhere to be found. Onboarding was also unprofessional, with the manager taking personal calls. There were 4 managers in total, with varying levels of professionalism.
- Given this cup, can you upsell this drink?
