Behavioral

It was a 45 minute interview, and it was mostly behavioral. The questions you get might change depending on the specific role you're aiming for. Since I was in risk, they asked me about how I'd approach certain tasks and why I was interested in this industry. It really helps to try and connect with the interviewer's vibe.

So for a tech interview, there's usually a screening interview first, often over the phone or video, to see if you basically qualify and are interested. Then there's often a technical assessment or online assessment, which could be coding challenges, problem-solving stuff, or quizzes to check your tech skills. After that, you'll likely have technical interviews, one or more, where they ask you stuff about the job, like coding or algorithms for software roles, or system design and data structures for others. You might also have behavioral interviews to see how you work with others, communicate, and solve problems in real life. Sometimes, especially for more senior or complex jobs, they might want you to come in for on-site interviews. Finally, if you get through all that, there might be a final interview with bosses, and if they like you, they'll offer you the job. The exact way it all goes can change a lot depending on the company and the role. To get ready, you should study the tech stuff for the job, practice coding problems, and get better at solving problems.
