The interview was great. The managers made me feel really comfortable and welcomed. They talked about the company and how I could move up in the company. They asked questions that made me think, wanting me to explain scenarios, my past work experience, and if I could handle a fast-paced work environment.

I applied online and then they emailed me for a phone interview. That call was about 30 minutes long. About three days later, I got another email to do a questionnaire. The next day, they called to set up an in-person interview, and mentioned it would be a panel interview. When I got there, there were a few other people there for interviews too. I first talked to a supervisor who asked why I should be hired over someone with more experience. Then I interviewed with the manager and a QA person. She asked me the same thing about taking a lower-level job and my career plans. I could tell they were worried about my management background when I left. I got laid off last year and wanted a less stressful role, but it seems like employers think I'm overqualified. I also noticed their management style seemed a bit outdated; the supervisor mentioned feedback is only monthly and they were vague about employee morale. The questions they asked weren't hard. I heard back 10 days later that I didn't get an offer.

I had a phone interview, and I think it went well. It was about 20 minutes long and they asked general questions. They said I'd hear back by phone or email in 7 to 10 business days. After 10 days, I called weekly to check on my status. Each time, they said they were still reviewing the phone interviews. I got an email in early November that the position was no longer available.
