Accountant
The first interview was pretty easy and didn't take too long. They started by asking me to introduce myself, then moved on to some fundamental accounting questions to check my knowledge, and finished by asking about my compensation expectations.

- Do you have experience with basic accounting entries?
- What is your desired salary?
Staff Accountant
After I submitted my resume, I first had a phone interview where they asked me some basic questions. Then, the company paid for me to fly from Illinois to San Jose, CA for an onsite interview. The interview was just 3 hours long, and we had lunch afterward. It felt like an easy and relaxed interview. I got the offer about 3 days after I got back to Illinois.
