First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Christian Dior Couture.
Sales Associate
The interview process involves 2-3 interviews. It's a very professional process where they give responsive and detailed feedback. They clearly explain expectations and focus heavily on luxury retail customer service, particularly CRM. Having previous experience with a well-known luxury brand gives you a better chance of being hired.
- How can sales be increased using CRM tools?
- What soft skills do you possess that you can contribute to the company?
- What are your reasons for why you should be hired for this position?
Payroll Administrator
The interview wasn't long, about 20-30 minutes of questions appearing on the screen. The interface was friendly. However, the questions were not relevant to the job I applied for. They were completely out of context for a finance candidate. The interview seemed more geared towards roles like creative directors at the company, which doesn't make sense for a finance position at Dior. I applied for a finance role, not a design position. After applying, I waited 3 weeks for a response. I sent a follow-up email and heard back a week later that the position was filled. I would not recommend applying to Dior again due to unprofessional or weak talent/hiring management.
- What is the name of Dior's creative director?
Sales Intern
I spent about 4-5 hours getting ready for this interview because I really wanted to do well. I managed to submit my responses for the initial video interview stage on time, which was two days after I received the invitation. However, just a day later, I got an email stating that the position had already been filled. I was a bit confused about how that could happen so quickly, but I'm still glad I got the chance to interview.
- Could you describe the different phases involved in a sales process?
Fashion Consultant
The interview journey for the Fashion Consultant gig at Dior was pretty slick and gave me a lot of insight. First up was a phone call to chat about my past in luxury retail. Then, I had an in-person meeting with the store manager. We really dove into my sales skills, how I handle customers, and how I can tell the brand's story. They also checked my product knowledge, my grasp of Dior's history, and if I could really nail the brand's image, with my style and how I present myself being super important. The last part was a chat with the regional manager to see if I'd vibe with the team and what my long-term career plans are. All in all, it felt pretty thorough but also really welcoming, just like you'd expect from Dior with their focus on being top-notch in luxury fashion.
- In what ways would you represent Dior's core values through your customer interactions?
