First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Choice Hotels.
Analyst
I went through 5 interviews at Choice over 1.5 months for a role they needed to fill quickly. The interviews involved talking with team members ranging from analysts to executives. The interviews were very technical and direct. All interviews were positive except for one with an executive who seemed disengaged. The main issue wasn't the interviews themselves, but the recruiter. I was told I'd hear back the Monday after my interview, but it's been a month with no response. I've tried reaching out via text, call, email, and LinkedIn without success. I'm still unsure about the job offer, and any update would have been professional given the time I invested. It's disappointing and has changed my view of the company, making me question its organization.
- Can you explain how to present data in a compelling narrative?
Analyst
had a long interview for about 1.5 hours with 3 people total -- 1 from loyalty, 1 from HR, and 1 senior recruiter. it was a pretty basic and easy interview. everyone was really nice and interested in why I wanted to work at Choice Hotels and what my thoughts were on the hospitality/travel industry.
- What is your understanding of Choice Hotels International?
- What are your motivations for wanting to join Choice Hotels?
- Could you share your thoughts and opinions regarding the hospitality and travel industry?
Senior Analyst
Started with a phone screen with the hiring manager, then a technical assessment. After that, there was a hiring manager interview, and finally a panel with four or five different people. The whole thing took about 2.5 hours. It took a while to get through, and the technical part wasn't too bad, but the whole process felt a bit unclear.
- What's your approach to tackling a pricing optimization issue?
