First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chobani.
Manager
After an initial email from the recruiter, there was a screening call, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and about two other team members. It felt like a lot of steps, but they were upfront about the whole process.
- What makes you want to join Chobani?
Business Manager
After applying, I had a phone chat with the recruiter, then interviewed with the hiring manager, and finally with some team members. The whole process spanned almost 3 months. There wasn't much feedback given, and no idea of timelines. After my last interview with the team I would be working with, I didn't hear anything back for 3 weeks, and then they told me I didn't make it. It's surprising for a company that says it's mission-driven and cares about people, that Chobani would treat potential employees with such a lack of empathy. Interviewees deserve to know what's going on and be treated with respect. This process was so long that I ended up taking another job while waiting for Chobani HR. If recruiting takes this long, it points to a big issue with HR, not the candidates.
- Can you share an instance where...
Manager
Started with a Recruiter Screen, then went into a Hiring Manager Screen, then into a technical screen. It was originally set to a group interview but some interviewers could not make it last second, so less people than designed. Questions within the technical screen were very specific to the job role, although would say the questions didn't seem to align explicitly with what a person in this position would mainly be responsible for, and fell into a grey area of responsibilities.
- Can you describe your past projects and whether they involved multiple stakeholders?
