I only made it to the recruiter screening for this role. The next steps were supposed to be a chat with the hiring manager and then a design challenge. The recruiter was nice though and shared a lot of info about the job.

The process was okay, though the whiteboard session was strange. It was really open-ended, making it hard to know what the interviewer was thinking. It felt like it was designed to push some kind of agenda.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process felt like it was just for show. The interviewers let me get through a few stages, but they didn't seem very interested. I first talked to a recruiter, then had a phone call with someone more senior who seemed to be just going through the motions. After that, I was asked to present my work to others who appeared distracted and disengaged. Following that round, I received a standard rejection email. I replied politely, respecting their process but asking for feedback on how to improve my presentation in future interviews, but I heard nothing back. I understand recruiters need to show they're considering diverse candidates, but I felt like they were just ticking boxes and there was never a real chance for me to get the role.
