The interview experience was really positive and motivating from start to finish. When I got there, the vibe was friendly and chill, not stressful or super formal. The manager who interviewed me made things feel like a chat instead of an interview right away. They cared about my attitude and teamwork, and how I deal with actual guest problems. The questions felt real and based on what you'd actually do, like how to help out coworkers when it's slammed or how to fix things for guests, rather than just standard interview stuff. What really stood out was how encouraging it was. The interviewer talked about chances to grow, the team vibe, and how reliable people can become key members fast. It felt inspiring, like they really appreciate people who try hard, stay positive, and are dependable.

So I had my first interview with the Bar & To-Go Manager, not the AGM or GM who were there, but it was cool, we just talked. Then I was supposed to have a second interview with the KM, but they were on vacation. Four days later, I went back and the KM still wasn't there, so I had to come back again the next day. Talk about miscommunication. When I finally met with the KM, the manager didn't seem to care about my years of experience and basically didn't believe me.
- The first manager asked me what job I applied for?

The interview process was extremely negative. The manager stated they require prior serving experience and won't hire without at least one year of experience. They seemed to imply I should meet a higher standard than other young servers who appeared to have no prior experience. This expectation from a manager at Chili's, given my two years of restaurant experience, felt unreasonable.
- Can you tell me about your serving experience and if you have prior experience serving at Chili's?
