Food Assembler
The interview process is 100% straightforward. It's usually to see where you fit best in the restaurant, for example you might apply to be a server, but may get hired as a runner and work your way to being a server.
- Tell me about your availability.
- Can you work before 4?
- Can you work after 4?
Assistant Manager
I went to a job fair, and walked in to talk to someone. I wasn't really interested in the job. They asked some basic questions, and I gave basic answers. It wasn't a big deal. They asked if I had questions, I said no, and we left it at that.
- What makes you a good candidate for this position?
Server
The interview experience was really positive and motivating from start to finish. When I got there, the vibe was friendly and chill, not stressful or super formal. The manager who interviewed me made things feel like a chat instead of an interview right away. They cared about my attitude and teamwork, and how I deal with actual guest problems. The questions felt real and based on what you'd actually do, like how to help out coworkers when it's slammed or how to fix things for guests, rather than just standard interview stuff. What really stood out was how encouraging it was. The interviewer talked about chances to grow, the team vibe, and how reliable people can become key members fast. It felt inspiring, like they really appreciate people who try hard, stay positive, and are dependable.
- How much personal time do you typically allocate for family?
- How would you assist your colleagues during peak hours?
- What is your approach to resolving customer issues?
Food Runner
I set up an interview for the next week. When I showed up, I ended up waiting for about 20 minutes. They told me to come back the next day at 4:00 PM to talk to the manager, which was inconvenient because I had other plans. I thought it was pretty unprofessional, especially since they had already agreed to the interview.
- What days are you available to work this week?
