I applied online and immediately got an automated email saying they viewed my application. Right after that, I got another email inviting me to take a product management test on Hackerrank. This test had 8 open-ended questions and was timed for 150 minutes. I completed the test, noting ambiguities in some questions and stating my assumptions. It's been over two weeks, and I haven't heard back. All communication has been automated, and my LinkedIn message to the recruiter was also ignored. I think it's unacceptable to ask candidates to donate 2.5 hours for a test without providing feedback.

I think I got an automated email to do this HackerRank thing. It felt more like a product designer test, tbh, but I did it anyway. Then, crickets. Followed up a bunch with the recruiter/hiring manager and still nothing. Over an hour on that test and not even a rejection email, which is pretty lame.
