The interview process was pretty standard, mainly focusing on behavioral questions. They mentioned I'd hear back within two weeks, but after three weeks of no response, even after leaving a message, I never got an update. I had a similar experience with another position where after a scheduling conflict, the hiring manager promised to follow up. Despite leaving two messages that week, I never heard back. It's really unprofessional how management handles follow-ups here. Even a generic email would be better than just saying you'll get back to someone and then ghosting them. Honestly, this makes me question if I even want to work for a company with such unreliable management.

I have been applying to jobs at Children's Hospital Colorado for three years now, submitting applications for at least 10 positions, all of which I was qualified for and had additional experience in. In those three years, I've only heard back once, getting a notification that my application was being reviewed and then one phone call from a hiring manager. The call was short, she sounded uninterested, briefly explained the job, asked a couple of skill-related questions, and we quickly discussed scheduling a formal interview. Three days before the interview, I had a family death and had to postpone. I emailed the hiring manager to reschedule, and she agreed via email, asking me to send available dates and times. I immediately sent several options but never heard back. I followed up by phone and email for a month with no response. This was for only one position; I've never heard anything about any of the others. Some jobs I applied for have been open for over six months. I don't understand their hiring process; it's either extremely slow, they don't hire anyone, or HR, Talent Acquisition, and managers are not proactive. I have six years of experience, mostly in the specialty I applied for, a bachelor's degree, meet all requirements, and have extra certifications. I don't know why I keep hoping to work there, but I'm about to give up.
