First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chiesi.
Accounting
Had several interviews with HR, manager, and the department director. It was an in-person interview with a test to assess knowledge. Typical questions about why I want to change, what I can contribute, and explaining my current job. The offer was much lower than the range I mentioned from the first interview. There were 4 rounds in total.
- Why are you looking to change roles?
- What are your usual tasks and responsibilities?
- How do you handle problems?
Intern
My first contact was with a recruiter on LinkedIn. She had actually reached out a year before, but I didn't respond. This time she contacted me again and we set up an interview. It wasn't a great interview, she mostly just asked about things already on my resume, which was a bit of a letdown. Then I had to do an English test online where you had to record a 1-minute video answering a question. The second interview was with the team, with standard questions, nothing really stood out. The manager mentioned she liked to closely monitor what each analyst and intern did, which made me lose interest in the role due to the micromanagement.
- What attracted you to this area or what do you like about it?
Executive Assistant
It was long, professional, and serious. I liked the path proposed to me. Various steps in both Italian and English, some by video call and some in person. They didn't use any strange techniques, but I had simple and clear interviews.
- Why were you applying?

Pharmacoepidemiologist
I was contacted by a headhunter who was my main contact with the company throughout the hiring process. We had a first phone call, then a second technical interview via Teams with the hiring manager and a colleague. The third interview was with the Head of Department, also via Teams. This whole thing took about a month. Then, for a month, I heard nothing, and the headhunter didn't update me. Later, the hiring manager called to let me know the Head of Department had left the company, that there were only 3 of us left, and they wanted to do another in-person interview in Parma. After that interview, I heard nothing for another month. I contacted the headhunter, and they emailed to say they'd chosen someone else. Overall, the interviews were pretty relaxed, no super tough technical questions. I felt comfortable the whole time. Before and after each interview, the headhunter would check in to see if I'd prepared and how it went, always assuring me I'd get a response, even if it was a no. This close contact was a bit jarring when I didn't actually get informed about the negative outcome. Especially since I got so far, I expected a slightly more detailed feedback.
