So I interviewed at this small women's clothing shop with the manager. It was a 1 on 1 chat and she was super nice. We covered the typical retail interview stuff and she also asked about my personal fashion sense. After our talk, she took me into the store and gave me a task to style a customer. I had to pick out three outfits for her. It was a bit unexpected because the job posting didn't say I'd be acting as a stylist, but I guess you're expected to dress the part, like with accessories and everything. The interview itself went pretty well though.

I went to Chico's and asked about openings. They said to apply online and do a personality test. The next day, I called to check if my application went through. The hiring manager then asked me to come in for an interview in two days and dress "Chico's-like." When I arrived, the assistant manager took me to the back office and asked questions about my past jobs. The interview was pretty relaxed and we joked around. They asked what I'd do if a customer's taste was different from mine and what I could bring to the company.
