First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chewy.
Supply Planner
First, I got an email for a chat with a recruiter. It was a 30 minute phone interview. They said I'd hear back in 1-2 days. Then, another recruiter emailed to schedule a call about the interview process and next steps. I sent my availability for the week, but they never responded. I sent 3 follow-up emails and got an automated rejection 1.5 weeks after the first call. Super unprofessional, never heard from anyone else.

Supply Chain Analyst
So I had two phone screens and then a 4 hour loop. The recruiter was super responsive at first, but then ghosted me for two weeks before setting up my final loop. After the interviews, the recruiter let me know I got good feedback but they ended up picking someone else for that particular job, though they said I'd be considered for other roles later. I never heard back from them again.

Supply Demand Planner
This was a pretty awful interview process. I interviewed for two separate roles at Chewy. For Role 1, the first interview was scheduled three weeks out from initial contact and went well. After not hearing anything for two weeks, I was asked to schedule a second interview, which was another three weeks out. The second interview didn't go great in my opinion, and it's now been two weeks with no feedback. It's baffling how it can take over two months for just two interviews, and the lack of communication or feedback is unprofessional. Role 2 had a similar issue, requiring a two-week wait to schedule, only for the interview to be cancelled via email right at the start time because the position was filled. The odds of both these situations happening simultaneously are very low and highly unprofessional. Overall, Chewy's HR/Talent Acquisition team has been the least transparent, communicative, and professional, making it the worst interview process I've experienced recently. This suggests working there might also be problematic.
- Can you discuss your experience in relation to this position?
