First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CHEP.
Graduate Development Program
Had a couple of two-on-one interviews, then a skill test. Then there was a fun closing activity. The test wasn't too hard, but understanding what they were looking for was tricky.
- Why this company?
Graduate Development Program
I first learned about CHEP at a career fair. The next day, I had an on-campus interview. The recruiters were a bit reserved but friendly. The interview was casual and lasted about 30 minutes. They mentioned they'd contact me if I advanced. I got a call the following day, informing me I'd reached the final interview in Orlando. They brought me and about 15 other candidates to Florida and organized a networking event with executives at Disney, which included bowling. The actual interview took place the next day and spanned most of the day, featuring different individual and group activities. It was demanding and lengthy, but it gave us a great chance to interact with executives and understand the company better.
- Can you share an instance where you tackled an unclear task with minimal supervision?
Software Tester
I found this role on LinkedIn. The HR team reached out for my resume, and it got shortlisted. The first round was with the Manager, lasting over an hour, and was entirely focused on coding. The second round also involved coding and logical questions. This second round had to be conducted twice because of scheduling conflicts. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer, but it was a valuable learning experience.
- Questions focusing on data structures and logical reasoning.
- Interviewer provided hints to help solve the problems.
