The interview process was virtual. I spoke with two people, but then the role was eliminated, so the process ended. I didn't hear back about whether they decided to bring the position back. The company was as nice as they could be about it.

Had a technical round where I was given an assignment to finish within a deadline. After that, there was a verbal round with the TL and manager where we talked about my past experience. Finally, an HR round to go over the next steps.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

I applied for a role in Chegg's product team and went through a few rounds. First, there were phone screens with HR and the hiring manager. Then, I had an onsite interview that lasted about three hours. This included a presentation of a case study I prepared on one of their products, followed by a Q&A with the group. After the presentation, I had three one-on-one sessions where they asked about my experience, background, and projects. The last person I met with made some really condescending remarks, saying he doesn't like to be the smartest person in the room and implying I might be in that meeting. He also called my background and talking points 'institutionalized' and 'well rehearsed.' It was a major turnoff. I followed up with HR after sending thank you notes, but haven't heard back.
