Content Operations Manager
The company reached out to schedule a phone screen. I prepared and was ready for the call, but it was very short, lasting less than five minutes. They informed me within the first few minutes that the position had already been filled. This felt like a waste of my time and prep effort, as an email would have been sufficient.
- Are there any other positions you are interested in?
Content Coordinator
I had an initial recruiter phone screen. After a month, I followed up and the recruiter mentioned they were changing the role due to business needs. I applied for the new role, and after two months, I had another phone screen with the same recruiter. I completed an assignment, and was scheduled for an interview with the manager. The manager rescheduled, and then I was suddenly informed the role was being closed. The whole thing took four months.
- How do you manage multiple tasks when facing competing deadlines?
Content Creator
I had an initial phone screen where they wanted to get to know me and why I was interested in the job. After that, I didn't get a reply. We had an online meeting where they asked me some generic introduction questions.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
