Business Analyst
So this was like one of the worst interview experiences ever, not because I didn't get the offer, but just how the company treated me. It started with the recruiter reaching out, then I had an HR round, followed by a technical interview that included SQL and R coding. After that, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, and then a full day of onsite interviews. It was a long day, from morning till late afternoon, totally exhausting. It's been months and still no word back from them. Even if a candidate isn't selected, they should at least have the decency to let them know, especially after someone spent so much time interviewing.
- Can you handle moderate difficulty SQL queries?
- Do you have basic skills in R programming?
Business Analyst
The interview process moved very quickly and the interviewer provided minimal preparation guidance. The initial stages involved Python, although I was later informed that only SQL would be used. Several interviews ran over their scheduled times, indicating poor planning. The interview panel gave off a negative vibe, almost as if they were trying to warn me about the workload. After waiting for several weeks for an update on the interview outcome, I had to proactively reach out. It was quite disappointing that the recruiter didn't follow up.
