Sales Engineer
The process was very clear, and scheduling interviews was easy. I received prompt feedback after each interview. The hiring team was helpful in answering questions about job expectations. I appreciated all parts of the process.

Sales Engineer
After an initial chat with Checkmarx HR, I went through 2 rounds of interviews. First, I met with the Director of SE. Then, I had a full panel interview with a technical team. The panel interview involved me presenting an OWASP vulnerability, covering what it is, how to spot it, its consequences, and ways to fix it. After that, I did a live demo of the product and answered some general technical questions. The whole process was super smooth, and they asked some really good questions.
- Can you explain how this code snippet demonstrates a cross-site scripting attack and what steps you would take for correction and remediation?
- Could you elaborate on your presentation regarding the OWASP vulnerability, including its nature, identification methods, impact, and solutions?
- Please provide a live demonstration of the product.
Sales Engineer
It was a pretty standard interview process. It began with an HR screening, followed by interviews with the hiring manager and a sales leader. Then, there were some assignments designed to test your understanding of the technology and solutions. They were understanding that I was busy with my current job, so the timing for the assignments was flexible. After completing the assignments, there was one final round where I presented them to the hiring team. The very last step was discussing benefits with HR.
- Tell me about your background.
