First, there was a 15-minute call with HR. Then, a 30-minute interview with the team leader and a QA employee. They asked me about my QA experience, how I report bugs, and how I've handled bugs in my current work. They also asked networking questions, but I didn't pass that part. There were also pair questions.

The hiring process had 2 main parts: a first phone chat, then a full day at the office. The phone call was in English and covered basic networking stuff and just chatting. The recruitment day had 3 parts. Part 1 was 2 tests in English using networking articles, one I'd seen before; no prep needed, just decent tech English and basic binary math. Part 2, if you passed Part 1, was a hands-on router config task. A team lead would watch and ask questions as you finished each step. Part 3 was a 1-on-1 with the team leader.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Can you explain what ping is?
  • What is the function of DNS?
  • Could you define what a subnet mask is?

The interview process began with a recorded video asking simple questions, followed by an exams day. This exams day included general questions, an English test, and an authorization test for a described checkpoint system. Passing these tests led to the second part: configuring a checkpoint router using a manual. The final stage was an interview with a team lead.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • How would you configure a check point router?
