Technical Advisor
It was a pretty long interview process. We started with a one-hour technical written test. Then, it was a full day of interviews. They kicked things off with a short presentation. After that, there were some team-building activities, like using LEGOs and a treasure hunt. We had lunch, and then there was a comprehension test, a hands-on test where we had to set up the internet and firewall manually on their software, a communication exercise, an interview with the manager, and finally, a really difficult technical interview.
- What is your greatest weakness? I need a genuine answer, not something fake.
- What value do you add to the team?
- Can you demonstrate expert-level knowledge of Linux commands?
Consultant
The hiring process included personable hr folks and a knowledgeable hiring manager who seemed keen on employee growth. The benefits and health package were satisfactory. There was a strong focus on general technical knowledge, not specific to the company. Being an international company, understanding different cultures and work styles was also highlighted.
- What are your salary expectations?
Technical Advisor
We had a quick 10-15 minute chat first, then a 1-hour online pre-exam. After that, there was a 5-6 hour group interview where we talked about the company and the job we applied for. Finally, there was an interview with someone individually where they asked a couple of questions.
- Can you explain TCP/IP?
- What about VPN layers?
- Do you know DHCP?
