I applied online for a part-time CSR position and after a few days, I got an email to take an online assessment. About a week later, I got another email to schedule an interview. A week after that, I went for the interview and met the Hiring manager. She was super nice and friendly. Everything went fine, but the only problem was the hours they needed to fill. You basically have to have an open schedule and fill in whenever they needed you, around 15-20 hours a week, with some opening and some closing shifts. They are not flexible with your schedule AT ALL and weren't even willing to discuss it.

I applied back in October, but didn't hear anything for a while. I reapplied a couple more times, and at the end of January, I finally got an email saying I was selected to move forward. The next step was an assessment test, which took me about 30 minutes. I thought I failed it, but then on February 16th, I got a call for an interview. The interviewer mentioned the person whose position she was filling had their last day that Friday, and she needed to fill it ASAP. I was so excited because it had been four months! I went in on Monday for the interview, which lasted over an hour. She shared a lot of great information about the business. It felt more like a conversation than a formal interview. At the end, she told me she had another candidate the next day, and then she'd make her decision because she wanted to fill the position quickly. If I got the job, she or the DD would call me, and I'd need to check my email to accept. If I accepted, after the background check, a training start date would be set. We discussed my desired wage, and I said $9 or $10 because I wasn't sure of the starting pay for a CSR there. The questions were easy to understand. UPDATE! FEB 23RD I GOT THE JOB!! :D

I got a call from a hiring manager to come in for an interview. When I arrived, they asked for a resume, even though I'd already submitted one online for several positions. It seemed they hadn't prepared anything, as they had no information or application copies ready. They had a blank notepad and asked questions spontaneously. They described some job duties, and a couple seemed like safety hazards to me. One was managing the office alone on days the manager was off, meaning doing management tasks for non-management pay. Another was using my own car to take money to the bank because they didn't have anyone else for that. The manager said I'd hear back in a few days, but months have passed with no word. Honestly, I was already leaning towards declining the offer because of the job's inherent risks. However, it would have been professional for them to at least notify me if they decided to go with other candidates, rather than just leaving me hanging.
