Senior Specialist
Having more than one person interview for a role that pays around $40k felt unnecessary and made me really nervous. It also took them ages to get back to me about whether I got the job. I would have preferred a one-on-one, more personal interview.
- Smile and consider your response before speaking.
Specialist
I sent in my application online and about two days later, a recruiter gave me a call to chat. We talked about my past jobs and she told me more about what this role is like. After we finished talking, she set up my in-person interviews. The in-person part lasted about 4 hours and I met with 3 different managers. Each manager asked me a bunch of questions about how I've handled situations and I also had to read an important disclosure out loud. About a week after that, they offered me the job and I accepted. Then came the background check and drug test. I passed those and started working there 3 weeks after accepting the offer.
- Give me one reason why you think you're the right candidate for this position.
- Describe a situation where you had to manage a conflict in the workplace.
- Can you share an experience of dealing with a very angry customer?
Specialist
I applied and had the phone interview, followed by an in-person interview and then got the job offer, all within a week. The company is very professional and first-rate. The recruiter reached out, conducted the phone interview, and then arranged the in-person interview. It was a two-person interview and very straightforward.
- Describe a situation where you had to handle an upset customer and explain your approach.
