I got through the first two rounds, which were both technical. The first was more general, lasting about 45 minutes. A red flag was that they didn't seem to care about going over time. I tried to contact the recruiter between interviews for feedback but didn't get much, just a vague answer about the second interview. They said it would be a 45-minute walkthrough of a past project, but it ended up being 1.5 hours of mostly open coding in notes. The second interviewer was friendly but kept interrupting, which ultimately made me reconsider the company.

The Super Day consisted of three consecutive Zoom interviews. The last interviewer attempted to test me with some brain teasers, but they struggled to describe the problem clearly.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design

It takes them about two months to get back to you. First, there's an HR phone-call where they'll ask about your salary expectations and if you're still interested in the job. Then, there's a skype interview with the lead and an associate, which is also a technical interview and lasts about an hour. They'll ask you discrete math questions, SQL questions, talk about your data-science and machine learning projects, and ask Python questions. Dress nice and stay formal.

  • What is a rank in SQL?
  • Can you write pseudocode to find the maximum stock return over a 5-day period?
  • How would you prevent a model from overfitting?
