Bank Teller
We'll sit down and talk. I'll ask questions about your money experience, sales experience, customer service experience, and professional appearance. Also, your time management knowledge. You need a high school diploma, and any college experience is a plus. It's good to know that there aren't a lot of tellers around, and the job is mostly computers.
- Do you have experience with money?
Bank Teller
The interview process involved questions about my previous experience, my motivation for seeking a teller role, my suitability for the position, and confirmation of location feasibility. They also inquired about my personal interests.
- Have you held a teller position previously?
Bank Teller
I applied online, and then the assistant manager called me for an interview. The Assistant Manager interview was about 30 minutes long, and we talked about my customer service, cash handling, and sales experience. After that, I had a 30-minute interview with the Branch Manager, which was more about seeing if I was a good personality fit rather than focusing on experience.
- Tell me about your customer service background.
- Could you give an example of how you dealt with a difficult customer?
- What's your experience in customer service?
