Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chart Industries.
Product Engineer
I had a phone screen first, and then about a week later, I went in for an onsite interview. It lasted for 4.5 hours and I met with 6 people, department heads. After the interview, I followed up with HR a few times but never got a response. Honestly, if you're going to have me come in for a 4.5-hour interview, I feel like I at least deserve some kind of response.
- technical questions were asked
Rotational Engineer
The interview process was really smooth and straightforward. It was mostly behavioral questions, not really focused on engineering knowledge. It was a 3-part process: first I talked to HR, then the VP of an office, and finally the head of the program. Each interview was a good chance to learn about the company and the interviewers.
- Regarding your degree, what courses did you enjoy the most and which ones did you find the most challenging?
Project Engineer
The interview process will be lengthy with multiple stages including HR and technical rounds. It's important to be well-prepared, as they will ask about the LNG sector, cryogenics, and oil & gas.
