Welder
Interview with the production manager, conducted during a tour of the production area, visiting the various departments and production phases. Very interesting. The company is very large, with state-of-the-art machinery and high ceilings.
- Tell me about your previous experiences.
- Describe your knowledge of welding processes.
- What are your skills?
Welder
I just finished the first stage, which was the Weld pretest and my initial interview. My second interview, which includes the Weld tests, has been rescheduled. I really liked the vibe during the interview process; they mentioned they would provide further training, and I'm always eager to learn new things!
- Were you able to read a measuring tape?
HR Manager
First, I had a recruiter screen. Then, the first round involved an interview with three HR professionals. After that, the next step was an interview with the General Manager, followed by a final interview with the HR Vice President. If a candidate doesn't pass the initial interview with the three HR people, they don't proceed to the GM or HR VP stages. I felt the first round should have been with the Hiring Manager, not with colleagues. It seems like they might prefer candidates who are similar to them rather than those with diverse backgrounds, which could lead to not passing the second phase. Then, there was radio silence from the recruiter, even though communication was great at first. The company itself seems like a good place to work, but the hiring process needs improvement, as external customer experience is as crucial as internal. I wish them luck in their search.
- General questions were asked, but the process lacked structure.
Content Manager
I had a Teams interview scheduled. I logged on only to be met with the intern who said they had to reschedule. Logged on several days later to the same intern stating the same issue. Why couldn't this have been handled via email or phone call PRIOR to the meeting time? Finally, on the third scheduled interview, I was caught off guard by there being 4 people on this call instead of the one I was told. Ghosted after that. The whole process was so disorganized and unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Salesforce?
