Charming Charlie Store Manager Interview Questions
& Process

Met up with one of the Head Store Managers for the location, outside of the store at a local eatery. The interview only lasted about 30 minutes tops, with fairly straight to the point questions, felt fairly casual. *Definitely come to this interview dressed in dressy casual attire. Also, do some research on the company before hand, because questions may be asked. Overall, the interview will be straight to the point, and sometimes questions can get repetitive (to see how thorough and consistent you are), with customer service, leadership skills, and past experience (as well as random manager role play questions to see how you would handle certain situations).

I applied a couple weeks back and then reached out to the manager at a local store to ask about when the new stores were supposed to open. If you want something, go for it, right? It was a great interview and she asked me some really practical questions, not the typical 'Tell me about a time when' type of questions. She really took the time to figure out if we (myself and the company) would be a good fit. This was the first step in the hiring process. She also gave me some insight into how this district operates and what challenges she faced when she first took on the role (I asked).

I applied online and got a call about a week later for an in-store interview with the store manager. A week after that, I was called back for a second interview with the district manager. A few days later, the district manager emailed me to ask about my salary expectations. A few days after that, I got a call with the job offer at the salary I had requested.
