The interview process involved discussing my teaching philosophy and career aspirations, followed by a review of my previous teaching experience. A key part of the process was a mock lesson where I demonstrated my ability to teach a specific lesson. The interview was conducted by the grade level chair and an administrator.

I got a phone call and they asked me to come in for an interview that week. Four interviewers were sitting at a table and asked questions in a round robin format. It took them 15 minutes to ask all their questions. They took notes on everything that was said. They were serious and didn't smile. They told me I would hear back next week.
