Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chapman Cubine Adams + Hussey.
Account Representative
It was a three part interview process that included a test. First, I had a phone screen interview. Then, I met with two senior staff members on the team I would be joining.
- Tell me about your qualifications for this role.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- Can you describe your preferred management style?
Account Representative
I had a Skype call with the hiring manager that was about 30 minutes and seemed to go well. Then I was supposed to have a second interview where I'd do an assessment, but things got messed up. The secretary rescheduled my assessment for two weeks out because the manager was on medical leave and she accidentally scheduled my next Skype call with the director in a different virtual room. I waited for an hour, but no one showed up. The director's schedule was too packed to reschedule, so I was told to call back in two weeks when the manager returned. I called three times over different days, but they kept saying he wasn't back yet. After a month, I emailed to ask about the process and got a rejection the next day, never even getting to do the second Skype or the assessment. It was really disorganized.
- Can you tell me about your previous experiences and what interests you?
Account Representative
The interview process was pretty intense. It started with a phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview where I met with two interviewers simultaneously. A week later, I had a second interview, this time meeting with two different people, but one after the other.
- Who do you look up to the most?
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
