They first send a mail to the student asking for their availability. Before the interview, they make you wait in the reception area and give you guest identification. The interview itself lasts about 30 to 40 minutes. They ask you about your self-projects and any previous co-op experiences you may have. After the interview, they give you a tour of their office and tell you about the work environment.

I had a phone interview with a hiring manager. This manager seemed bent on talking me out of working there, it worked. I asked a few questions to gauge the quality of the software and the release cycles. There seems to be no build process, very little Q.A. and high complexity, leading to problems that are difficult to solve. I wouldn't recommend working here until they make software a priority, define some build processes, start utilizing continuous integration, and implement much more testing.

The interview lasted about one to two hours and was primarily a mix of technical and personality assessments. It felt pretty relaxed and not overly stressful. I talked to several developers, the hiring manager, and even the CIO. After we covered the main technical parts, the conversation shifted to a more casual get-to-know-you style discussion.
