Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Change Healthcare.
Healthcare Representative
Started with a phone call with the recruiter, which was a good experience. Then, the first in-person interview was a little messy; whoever was in the office that day came and asked some questions, which were pretty straightforward. The second in-person interview was with senior management, and it felt a bit more intense, but it was fair.
- What experience do you have with State and Federal benefits?
- Have you worked directly with patients at the bedside?
Healthcare Representative
I got recruited while working for Texas Health and Human Services Commission. The recruiter was really professional and nice. After that, there was some pre-employment testing. I only had one actual interview with the DM, but I did meet and chat with a coworker. I think she probably liked me since she wouldn't have to use the language line to screen Spanish speaking patients anymore.

Healthcare Representative
I applied for the job on CareerBuilder and a few days later HR reached out for a short phone interview. HR was friendly but asked an inappropriate question about my ethnicity. Then I had an in-person interview with three managers that lasted about an hour. A few hours after I got home, HR called with a job offer.
- Tell me about what you liked best at your previous job.
