After sending in my CV and cover letter, I had to do some tests: a verbal reasoning test, a situational judgment exercise, and a written task. Once I passed those, I had a call with HR, which was nice and positive. We talked about why I wanted the job and my past experience. They also told me more about the company and how careers can grow there, which was great! Then, I moved on to an interview with the research team. They asked about my background, why I'm interested, my previous jobs, and some skills. We even spoke some Italian during the chat. The whole hiring process was really smooth, and everyone I met was professional and kind. It felt efficient and enjoyable.

Chambers recently underwent a management change and now conducts 'assessment days' for candidate screening. For the Research Analyst role, I joined three other candidates. We started with introductions to the HR team and Editor in Chief, followed by ice-breaker activities and a group exercise. Post-lunch with three Deputy Editors and an HR manager, I had two 30-minute interviews with Deputy Editors. The atmosphere was friendly and positive, with everyone, including myself, keen to make a good impression. I felt very positive about the company's current direction under the new management and ultimately accepted their offer.
