First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chambers and Partners.
New Business Development Representative
First, there was a call with a recruiter. After that, I had a call with the team leader and a senior. We went over my resume and discussed past experience as well as targets. I was given the opportunity to ask questions about the company, team, and role. There was supposed to be a final stage, but I didn't move forward as I received a generic email saying I wasn't moving forward.

Legal Researcher
After submitting your application, successful candidates will be invited to complete technical assessments, which include submitting an essay and the results of a competency test. Be aware that the pages in the test load very quickly. Following the assessments, there are two interview stages. The first is with HR, and the second is with the hiring manager and a team member. Although I felt confident, I didn't pass the final interview stage. The HR specialist called to kindly explain why I wasn't successful and offered some encouraging words.
- What career aspirations do you hope to fulfill with this position?
Data Quality Analyst
The interview process at Chambers and Partners was enjoyable. It started with a phone screening with the recruitment manager, which was a great chance to discuss my background and learn about the company. Next, I had an online interview with the CPO, delving deeper into my experience and exploring the company's data vision. This was a relaxed and informative session. The third stage was a take-home assessment requiring me to analyze a dataset and present findings in person. This unique assessment allowed for a dynamic discussion of my findings with a diverse group from product and research. Visiting the office was also a plus, helping me gauge if it's a good long-term fit. This stage was more technical and formal. The final interview was an informal chat with the newly onboarded CDO, focusing on strategy, data's future, and the role's progression. Throughout, the recruitment manager kept me informed about next steps, making the multi-stage process feel efficient. By the end, I had a clear understanding of the role, company vision, and had met potential future colleagues.

Research Analyst
After sending in my CV and cover letter, I had to do some tests: a verbal reasoning test, a situational judgment exercise, and a written task. Once I passed those, I had a call with HR, which was nice and positive. We talked about why I wanted the job and my past experience. They also told me more about the company and how careers can grow there, which was great! Then, I moved on to an interview with the research team. They asked about my background, why I'm interested, my previous jobs, and some skills. We even spoke some Italian during the chat. The whole hiring process was really smooth, and everyone I met was professional and kind. It felt efficient and enjoyable.
