I applied online and got a call from HR. The first step was an HR round, followed by an hour-long interview with the Hiring Manager. Next, I had an onsite interview in Chicago. This involved several shorter interviews, each about 30 minutes long, with different team members.

The whole interview process was done virtually, involving a mix of one-on-one and panel interviews, with a focus on behavioral questions. The interviewers were nice. I did notice something odd with Chamberlain though - it seems they don't really know what they're looking for. When you see the same job posting for over a year and a half, that's a company issue, not a candidate issue. They posted for 'product management' but they actually want someone for business development or something similar. My advice to them: check out what product management roles are like elsewhere and then seriously consider if that's really what you need. Update your job description to reflect what you actually want instead of just using generic keywords.

So, it was a pretty standard process with a few steps. First, I chatted with an HR person at the office where the job is. Then, the hiring manager gave me a call for a screening. After that, I had a one-on-one with my potential direct boss, and we talked about what they expected and my background. I waited about a week. Then, I went in again for another interview, this time with a bigger group, including the GM. They told me more about the specific products and projects for this role. Finally, they sent an offer, and there was a drug test and background check to wrap things up.
