First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Chadwick Martin Bailey.
Product Manager
It was a very detailed and thorough process. I was given a case study that mirrored actual day-to-day responsibilities, and I even ended up using the project work in my actual job when I was hired. I really liked that the interview was based on real work.
- Can you solve a real-world business problem that the company has faced concerning survey quality?
Market Researcher
The process was pretty simple. First, I had a phone screening where they asked about my background, why I was interested in the role, and why market research. Then, I went to their office in Boston for another interview. They explained the company structure and career paths, and talked about the different business units. They also asked about my market research experience, what I was looking for in a job, and gave me an idea of what the day-to-day tasks would be like. Everyone was really nice and made it easy.
- How can your previous experience be applied to this position at CMB?
Qualitative Researcher
I had forgotten I applied to the role by the time they contacted me. The interview process was fairly straightforward. It started with an initial phone screen, followed by an in person interview and an "attention to detail test." Then there was a second in person interview with management and more PM's. Finally, they did a reference check. The process itself was easy, but negotiating was more difficult. The initial offer was literally below the initial range I gave during the phone screen. By the time they came up to a reasonable offer, I had been offered a competing offer from my current role that was superior to the offer from CMB.
- Tell me about your previous work experience and how it translates to the research role at CMB.
Contracts and Compliance Specialist
I had a phone screen and then an in-person interview. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed with how they ran the in-person part. They started late and then made me wait over 15 minutes because they had a meeting to get to. They said the interview would be short for that reason.
