First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CH2M.
Intern
The interview process consisted of two rounds. The first round involved meeting the Manager of the Engineering group for a general discussion about software knowledge, which was a very friendly and informal interview. The second round was with the Electrical Team Lead, who was an extremely friendly and pleasing interviewer, and asked basic questions about the resume.
- Discuss the software you know.
- Tell me about your resume.
Intern
It was a really simple phone interview with the person I would be reporting to. They asked me about my background and what I was interested in. Nothing weird or complicated. I got to ask a bunch of questions too. After we talked, they found a department that fit what I liked and made an internship role just for me.
- What makes you want to work for CH2M?
Intern
HR person asked about other offers and said they would beat the competition's wages. Less behavioral questions, more work experience questions were asked. They are looking for people they can get along with and work with, in addition to technical skills.
- Are you considering other job offers?
- Would you be interested in working for CH2M after you graduate?
