I've interviewed with CH2M Hill three times now, at three different offices. All their interviews seem to follow a three-phase structure: first, a recruiter call to see if you're a fit; second, a chat with the hiring manager, and third, an in-person meeting with the team. My first recruiter call was months ago after I applied online. I had a Phase 2 interview set up with one office, but it was canceled. Then I had another Phase 2 with a different office, and went through their Phase 3, but didn't get an offer. Because I'd already done a Phase 3 with that other office, my Phase 2 with the office that eventually offered me the job was quicker and more focused on the actual job tasks. I spoke with my future boss and a project manager, and we exchanged questions about my background, my current role, the job opening, and the company. Then, I visited the office for a Phase 3, where I met a bunch of people in the same department as the role. We talked a lot about my experience, what I wanted from the job and the company, and what I could bring. People there really liked working at CH2M and said the company supports career growth. My potential supervisor gave me a lot of info about the area and schools, which was helpful for relocation. They mentioned interviewing someone else the next day, and I got an offer about a week and a half later. The recruiter and my supervisor were great throughout the whole thing.

The interview process was quite relaxed, consisting of two rounds. The first round involved a background check with an HR representative. The second round was with a panel of two line managers. The interviews felt casual and enjoyable, and the managers were friendly and helpful as they discussed the job scope and their experiences.

I applied for a role but ended up getting considered for a different one that needed less experience. The interview process started with the recruiter checking my background. It was a panel interview with three people. The interview was technical but not too hard, and they also asked questions about my character and personality.
