First, I had a HR Screening, and then I got invited to the next round of interviews with the hiring manager. I sent my availability and then didn't hear anything back, even after I sent a few follow-up emails. I never got confirmation for the next interview, and then a week later, I got a rejection email.

They used the STAR method and really dug into negative situation questions. It made me wonder what kind of negative environment they're preparing for or screening candidates for. I think I dodged a bullet.

The initial step was a casual Teams call where I discussed my resume and work history. They then invited me for a second round, covering my travel expenses. This second round involved a quick tour of their plant, which didn't offer much to see, but I asked questions anyway. Following that, there were two technical interviews with different team members. Some questions were repeated from the first call, which was a bit unexpected. The company has been very slow with communication; despite promises of a quick decision, I didn't hear back for quite some time, by which point I had already accepted another job offer.

The interview with the AP Supervisor wasn't great, but I thought meeting with HR and the Accounting Manager went fine. The AP Supervisor seemed a bit difficult; while they initially said they were open to suggestions for improvement, they later made it clear that their way was the only way things would be done. It felt like a bit of a power play. Overall, the experience with the AP Supervisor was negative, though the interactions with HR and the Accounting Manager were positive.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • The AP Supervisor asked me, in a really weird way, how I would handle a "meltdown" at work.
