First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ceribell.
Software Engineer
The interview process included an HR round, a coding round, a system architect round, a tech leadership round, and a final meeting with the VP. I completed all the technical and tech leadership rounds. I felt I answered all their questions well, but ultimately didn't get an offer. No feedback was provided. It seemed like they might have been using the interview to gauge industry practices and identify areas for company improvement, rather than actively hiring.

Analytics VP
They were good about my time, setting up interviews back to back. They made sure I talked to the right people without too many interviews. The people I spoke with answered all my questions, even the tough ones. I had to do a project that needed thinking but wasn't too much work, and it was set up to show how I solve problems, not to get free work. The whole thing from first contact to the offer took about a month, including a week for the project. They kept me updated and gave good feedback. They're more thorough than most, which is good, both in asking for and giving information. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- As part of the project, could you share your thoughts on the report we currently use and then use its data to show your alternative approach?
HR Director
The interview process for the Director-HR role at Ceribell spanned almost two months, with weekly phone calls for four weeks, and a two-week gap in between. This resulted in a slow and unfocused experience. By the time of the onsite interviews, I was ready with a plan and strategies based on Ceribell's data. However, I noticed contradictions in their data presentations. I suggested improvements based on my experience with Fortune 500 companies. The CEO, who I saw onsite, missed my presentation without explanation. The day after I shared my insights, I received an abrupt rejection.
- How did you know the two presentations used the same data set?
Recruiter
The interview process involved three distinct stages. Initially, there was a Team Fit round where they inquired not only about my working style but also about the attributes I value in a manager, which I thought was pretty forward-thinking. Following that, a Behavioral and Competency-Based round was conducted to evaluate core behavioral attributes and skills. The final stage consisted of a Case Study and Presentation, where I had to present my proposed solutions to a given case.
