Cloud Services Lead
The interview process started out real strong, I met with several people and received a verbal offer and everything. The interview process consisted of 1 Recruiter conversation, 2 panels, 2 meets with other people. It took a total time of 1 month. During that time, I was technically interviewed and given good feedback, but after the offer was made, the problems started to occur. From Verbal offer (they told me it would take 2 days to get a written offer) 2 weeks later I was being told that all "New Positions" were being sidelined. They went through my background check, they called my references, they even called the companies during the Verbal offer period as well. Ultimately, I was interviewing for another company and received an offer on week 2 anyhow, so It didn't really matter, but imagine if I had told my current company that I had a verbal and tentatively set the Nov 10th start date. The entire process after the verbal was rather unprofessional as well, so watch out for this company as they require all signatures from the CEO they stated, even Level 1 and Leel 2 hires.

HR Business Partner
I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn, and we set up the first interview super fast, like in a couple of days. The people I talked to were nice and professional, and they seemed really happy working there, which was cool. But, the actual interview process wasn't so great. It took a while to schedule interviews between stages, and I had to keep checking in to find out what was next. Also, the job I applied for online was different from what they told me in the interviews, which was confusing about what the job was really about. After what I thought was the second-to-last interview, they said there'd be a final chat with senior people. But then, two weeks went by with no news. I messaged the recruiter, no reply. A week after that, I messaged again and got a quick reply that the job was on hold. Even though the interviewers were good, the slow communication and the job description mismatch made the whole experience a letdown.
- Could you describe how you would manage employee relations issues considering different legal regions?
Software Engineer
The hiring journey had a few steps: first, a 30-minute chat with the hiring manager, then a 60-minute technical interview with the software engineering manager. After that, there was a 90-minute technical assessment with both a software architect and a team manager. Later on, a 60-minute meeting focused on cultural fit with the Head of Engineering and the R&D VP. Finally, a 30-minute session with the Head of Engineering and the software engineering manager to align on the role. Everyone I spoke with was really nice and kept things conversational. I was a bit shaky on Java since I hadn't used it much lately and fumbled a couple of times during the technical and assessment meetings, but they were understanding and helpful, making it a good overall experience. It was a bit intimidating thinking about meeting senior management, but they were all super friendly and made me feel comfortable. It's clear they put a lot of effort into their hiring process.
- Can you explain the basic concepts of object-oriented programming abstractions and discuss some Java questions on data structures and concurrency?
- Tell me about essential conflict management skills, decision-making processes, strategies for communication and reporting to peers and managers, and team dynamics.
Human Resources
Had several steps but all on video calls, which made things move fast. First, I spoke with the recruiter manager for about 30 minutes. It was a very practical call where we discussed my background, why I was interested in the company, my future career goals, and my salary expectations. Next, I had a 1-hour meeting with the hiring manager. This was also practical and to the point, as she seemed quite busy. She asked specific questions about my general work approach and my past responsibilities. I had the chance to ask questions about the role or anything else at the end. Finally, I met with the VP and another manager for an hour. This was more of an informal chat about career paths within the company, giving more details about the current organization and its culture. I really liked how transparent they were throughout the process. They weren't just trying to sell the company; they were upfront about the organizational challenges and the difficulties of the role, but also about the potential for growth given the company's expansion.
